Michael Gregory went from being a successful Investment Banker in the 1990s to a Buddhist Monk. In discovering that the peak of the American Dream did not bring the happiness promised, he sought refuge in the transformative power and simplicity of Buddhist teachings and mindfulness practice.
For the last 25 years Michael has been a Leading Teacher and Guide in the field of Buddhism and Mindfulness Based Coaching. Through his unique approach he brings highly effective cogntive behavioral techniques to the wisdom of Mindfulness to present a transformative approach to modern life, emotions and relationships.
Feeling like you might be ready to shed the anger, anxiety, guilt and sadness? Everything from helping you to find your way back to passion in your relationship, purpose in your life to freeing your mind from anxiety, guilt and depression - that's our specialty.
We generally see people for no more than three months and focus on working with the present situation in your life and not family history or other past events, because simply put - this is where you are now.
We dont prescribe medication, instead we encourage you to look at things very differently, by taking complete emotional responsibility for your life. No more blame game. We see people in person, by phone, or videoconferencing. Our mindfulness counseling in person services are available at our office in La Jolla California or Quiet Mind Retreat Center, in Julian, San Diego.
We also offer interactive online courses, downloadable retreats and talks that you can work through at your own pace.
We treat everyone as though they are works in progress, and most importantly - we see all of our friends and clients as pure potential. Counseling wisely and differently, with fantastic results, in a short period of time.
